DENT’s Mission reflects
a sense of serious play
combined with
environmental activism:
to encourage creative activities, environmental awareness, and building community by making
a 'DENT' in the
waste stream…one art project at a time.

Be a community-focused idea generator
and lab for curiosity and invention
Provide an avenue for the ‘artist in all of us’ to create
Be a resource for anyone who finds value in reuse or the over-produced
Set an example as stewards of the environment
Seek partners and collaborators in our efforts
THINGS WE LIKE
(Besides having you as our friend), we like cheap trinkets, space travel, cast-offs, thing-a-ma-jigs, whatcha-ma-call-its (items that we might know what they are but look really interesting), upcycling, reinvention, ‘active’ participation, collaboration and our community partners, DENTevents, hands-on workshops and educational ‘in-reach’ initiatives, art for all, unusual donations (materials and monetary), and a fun and a welcoming environment—all mixed with a bit of zaniness and good cheer.
